Worship songs are undeniably important to open up road before our prayer. It's not because the song, but when we sing a worship song, the worship atmosphere would be different. We will feel more intimate and with that worship song we can again feel the greatness of our God even more. We can also be inspired by the lyric of the song that we can use to worship God even more.

So this time we're listing our favorite worship songs of all time. We collect all kind of worship songs, from hymn to popular songs. All these songs have at least one similarity, they are all uplifting worship songs that could instantly boost the worship atmosphere at any moment. We're opening our countdown with beautiful song from Hillsong United, Hosanna. Released at 2007 at All the Above by Hillsong United, it also put in Savior King album by Hillsong at the same year. It has beautiful music and lyric, Hosanna in the highest!

9. Worthy Is The Lamb - Hillsong

The next one is a classic song from Hillsong. Released in 2001 by Hillsong Live with the album entitled You Are My World, the song thanking God for His sacrifice in the cross washing all our sins.

8. Majesty - Delirious

From Australia, we go to UK to meet with Christian rock band, Delirious. Despite of rock band, Delirious never forgot where they belong. Majesty, released as a single in 2001, the song put together in their album, World Service. The song is as you can expect from a rock band like Delirious, intimate, yet powerful.

We across continent again for our next song. This time it's from American singer-songwriter, pastor, and producer, Don Moen. Give Thanks is one of the classic worship song ever released. The song was published together with the same title album in 1986. The song is about encouragement to be thankful for what God has done to us.

6. How Great Thou Art - Classic Hymn

Next up is the classic hymn that based on Swedish traditional melody and poem written in 1885. It was then translated into English, then translated into many other languages, including the language of our country. There are even so many cover version of this song stating how great our God is.

4. Awesome God - Rich Mullins

Awesome God originally written by Rich Mullins in 1988 and put in the album called Winds of Heaven, Stuff of Earth. Michael W. Smith made a tribute for Rich in his album called Awesome God: A Tribute to Rich Mullins. From Michael's version, the song become more famous and sung all over the world.

Shout to the Lord is a worship anthem that written in 1993 by Darlene Zschech. We could say that this song had brought Darlene Zschech and Hillsong Music worldwide. Shout to the Lord even covered by American Idol contestants in 2008 with some controversy.

Finally, for our top position, we could say that this song is the modern version of How Great Thou Art. It is written by Chris Tomlin, Jesse Reeves, and Ed Cash. Released in 2004, this song has been a great blessing among many countries and has been translated into many language.
