We always love covers that do some music & tone arrangement upon the original song. Well, besides it seems different from the original, it shows how creative a musician could be. Also, it could become inspiration for us regarding how we can change the music of the song that we want to cover. So this time we will put our three most favorite cover of one of the most famous song in 2012, Canadian’s Carly Rae Japsen Call Me Maybe.

3. Ben Howard
Our third pick is a cover version from English folk singer-songwriter, Ben Howard. He changed Call Me Maybe into a more folk genre. We like his style while singing this song. The instruments were minimum, but they have an amazing idea to arrange the song.
The second one is coming from a duo called UsTheDuo that arranged the song with inspiration coming from Mumford & Sons/Lumineers. We love how it became so great work.
1. Stacks of Wax
Our top pick this week is a disco version that played beautifully especially on the violin part. So although the chorus part were all played in the same way, it was surprising how the song could change into like this. Two thumbs up!
